Following a championship win in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup, San Miguel import Charles Rhodes is leaving the country Friday night.

However, Rhodes' last few days in the Philippines were pretty busy as the towering import was on deck for two victory parties --- one on Wednesday and one on Friday --- on top of visiting a local orphanage.

Finally a pro champion, the man they call the Colossus went to the White Cross Orphanage in San Juan and treated the children to some food and cake.

Rhodes, who helped the Beermen win their first Commissioner's Cup title in 17 years by beating TNT KaTropa in the Finals, 4-2, said on his Instagram account that "words can't express the feeling" when he made the underprivileged kids happy.

Aside from treating everyone to a nice meal, Rhodes also made a donation to orphanage.

Rhodes was terrific for San Miguel all conference long, winning the Best Import award as well aside from the title.

Making an appearance at Robinson's Galleria Friday to meet Beermen fans, he thanked everyone for their continued support and expressed his desire to go for back-to-back championships next year. - ABS-CBN Sports
